Just thought I'd throw it out there that I just got my best test grade in awhile on this mornings test.

Guess it pays off to start studying more than one day before the test.

And I was looking around for a potential job last night.
Nothing.
zip. zilch. nada.
The huge hospitals in ann arbor were hiring like a total of 14 nurses, majority of which required at least 2 years of experience before I could apply.
Ahhhh.....hello.......what happened to the nursing shortage when I started this program two years ago!?

do you think my hubby will want to move somewhere so I can get a job??? hahahaha....

This baby had her first luxurious laundry basket ride yesterday. I think she was originally stuck in there by daddy to keep her occupied for a little while....
Then it turned into a twenty minute ride that she sat for and enjoyed every minute. Her brother had a grand old time pulling her around the house. Eventually he got sick of it and dumped her out onto the carpet. (we'll have to work on that part)

It's the big super bowl game today. And a big studying day for me, I do indeed have another test tomorrow and then another one the following Monday. I just love back to back tests like that. But I'm halfway to spring break....four more weeks until spring break. : ) Does that mean we'll have "spring" weather that week? Like maybe a heat wave of 45 degrees or some other balmy temperature.

From the mouth of babes

Dominik sneezed this morning and a little booger came out onto his pajama sleeve.

He looks at me and says: "I gotta take off my jammies cuz I got some 'bless you' on them"

couple pix to start out the day

He loves to look out the corner of his eye when I'm talking to him. Sometimes he'll even cock his head to the side and give me this look....like he knows exactly what he's talking about.
This little lady is getting better. Had her in to the dr's last night for a recheck and she's getting better. No ear infections have flared up yet, thank goodness. and her lungs are sounding better too. Hopefully she'll be 100% any day now. But she has perked up the past day or two, getting back to her smiley self and laughing at her brother.

Here's the look my mom and sisters love. This is his "i'm kind of embarrassed but don't really mind the attention" look. It's funny that he does this sometimes because he hasn't been the type to get embarrassed to easily.

Now off to start my long day......enjoy yours!

Somebody turned three!

Three fingers are kind of tricky for a kid to hold up. The thumb and pinkie don't always work the way they want them to. : )

Three candles for three fun years!

He loved the frosting for his cake. I tried a new recipe for white frosting...it reminded me of marshmallow cream. And not too sugary, we all liked it.

The cake was far from perfect but he loved the hockey guys on the rink. He was pumped and couldn't wait to eat it.

Daddy and sister....we had a low key birthday this year. Kind of nice with how busy we've been recently. Low stress is my way to go.

He was so pumped on the hockey guys from the cake, he didn't have much interest in the birthday gift we got him. : ) Guess we could have gotten away with just the cake this year and he would have been pumped!

He's Three!

Happy 3rd Birthday to our little boy!
I have no idea where time went but it seems like we blinked and he's three!
So we'll enjoy him at this age for the next year and love all the new things he's learning. Right now he plays good by himself. There have been mornings when we have woken up and Dominik was down stairs playing by himself. He had even gotten his waffles out of the freezer and put them on the counter, just waiting for us to wake up and make them.
He's a good natured kid who can "go with the flow". He loves to wear his skates down the basement. Still has zero interest in potty training. Can make his sister laugh so easily. And loves to make other people laugh, he's a goof. But if we tell him that his reply is "I'm not-a goof. I'm Dominik!"

Our little toothy grin girl. I love seeing babies new little teeth when they smile, it just looks to darn cute.
Here's Esmie, her and Kaelyn had fun playing together over the weekend. They would sit right by each and laugh and play......and then Es would crawl away while Kaelyn was stuck in the same spot.

The two little ladies who are only one day apart!

Dominik's sitting behind me saying: "That's kay-in right there. That's Esmie right there. She's nice hey mommy. Kay-in's nice to. I'm nice too!"
